The Dance of Death: Eternal Light transforms the stillness of grief into a shared ritual of remembrance and connection. I wanted to create a piece that offers comfort through togetherness — a way for people to honour loss while feeling held by those who remain.

 

Each Tiny Man jewellery piece is shared among close friends or family, symbolising connection and belonging. When one of them passes, their figure is returned to the central container in a ritual gathering — a moment for the remaining members to share memories, express their feelings, and mourn together. Over time, all figures reunite, carrying the message that even though we may be apart, our love endures through memory — and one day, we will be together again.

 

A tea light inside the central container casts shadows through figure-shaped cutouts, sending moving silhouettes and evoking how memories of loved ones continue to shift and linger — never fixed, yet always present.
